Marol is an 11-year-old girl who has 3 brothers and sisters. She has an alcoholic father who has the abusive behavior. In 2014, Marol’s parents were divorced because her mother wanted to protect children from domestic violence. Her family has received the family assistances through TFCF Mongolia branch since 2016 September. As a single parent family, her mother was unable to work and needed the financial support. At the beginning, they lived in a friend’s ger and had to move out finally.
“Thank you very much for offering to help out with this project. Your donation and support have been tremendously helpful throughout these past months since we had to move out from my friend’s ger. It comes to creating the most stable family life for my children. After my children enrolled in school and started their school days, I also found a job as a bus ticket-seller. My work is mainly on weekends, so I have opportunities to participate in TFCF Mongolia Vocational Training Program. Now I hope I could improve and build better sewing skills, and I could earn more money for my children. I could've never imagined we would have our own Mongolia ger as our home. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for all donors' and TFCF's support to us. I'm so thankful for the good you do not only for us but for many other people as well. Thank you all.”
- Message from Marol’s mother
Let's work together to help more families!
I am glad to inform you that the project has progressed well and we have assisted 6 families to build and move into their new home – Mongolia Ger. We would keep finding and linking all social resources for needy families and help improve their living environment in Mongolia. In addition, we also develop Vocational Training Program for parents and help increase their income as soon as possible. We believe that putting resources into improving the lives of the poor families is a good way to help them get out of poverty someday. Thank you for being with us.
With gratitude,
Wen Hung
