Last week, something special happened at our Azure Center. The children who participate in the extracurricular activities supported by the Get a Kosovan Kid to School project celebrated Halloween for the very first time. It was a day full of colors, laughter, and excitement!
The atmosphere at the center was wonderful. The children painted masks, played guessing games, and shared spooky stories that always ended in laughter. For some of them, it was their first time joining a celebration like this — a moment where everyone felt free to express their imagination and creativity.
But most importantly, this day showed how much their lives have changed. Every week, these children come to the Azure Center to attend extracurricular classes, where they improve their reading and writing, learn to draw, and develop teamwork skills. For many, the center has become a place where they feel accepted, heard, and valued.
Our teacher at the center Majlinda shared this touching reflection:
“Many of these children never had the chance to join activities like this before. Now, they come every week full of excitement. They’ve become more confident and more eager to learn.”
This celebration — and every joyful moment in the center — would not be possible without the support of you, our generous donors. Thanks to you, these children can access additional education, feel part of a community, and create happy memories from their childhood.
From all of us at the Get a Kosovan Kid to School project and the children of the Azure Center — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing support, your donations, and your trust.
You are the reason these smiles exist.
