Dear Donors,
We are appealing for support for the Gift Classroom Desks to 5,000 Poor Schoolchildren project. At this time, no donations have been received, and assistance is needed to begin improving classroom conditions for children in low-income communities.
In many public schools across Nigeria, pupils sit on bare floors or squeeze onto a few broken benches. This discomfort makes it hard for children to concentrate, write properly, or take part in lessons. With continued exposure to poor seating, children’s posture, confidence, and interest in school are negatively affected. Schools serving poor communities often lack the funds to provide adequate furniture, leaving thousands of children in unequal learning conditions.
This project plans to provide 5,000 strong classroom desks to selected schools serving disadvantaged children. Proper desks will give pupils personal space to sit, read, and write comfortably. Teachers will also benefit from better classroom order, making lessons easier to manage and more engaging for students.
With improved seating, children are more likely to stay attentive during class and attend school regularly. Better classroom environments can support learning, improve participation, and help students prepare more effectively for exams. In the long term, this support can reduce the gap between under-resourced schools and better-equipped ones, giving every child a fair chance to learn.
We kindly ask for your support to help launch this project and provide children with the basic furniture they need to learn with dignity. Your contribution can make classrooms safer, more comfortable, and more supportive for thousands of pupils.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
