Once near about 20,000 Entellus (Langur, Local name Honuman) lived in Keshobpur and Monirampur Upazila under Jessore district in Bangladesh. They lived by eating local fruits. Now fruit`s demand has increased for population growth. So it has been seen food crisis for Entellus. They are living with very painful situation due to their food crisis and are assaulted by people. Now nearly 3500 Entellus are alive. We want to give food supplies and build up social awareness. Thus they will be saved.
Once there were many Jungles. Entellus moved independently. People have made enclosure around their Jungles and fruit`s area. So it has been seen food crisis for Entellus. Due to their food problem they are eating rotten food and sometimes they are passing days without food. They are affecting by food poisoning and falling into death but have no treatment facility. Thus they are getting angry and sometimes attack the people in the locality for food and living problem and are assaulted by people
Food collection and supplies with the Entellus can save them from the extinction. To create social awareness to the local people, govt. staffs and others can play an important role. To arrange medical treatment by established a wild hospital. If they have no any food crisis and if the local people show good behaviour to them, they will stop attack people and will be friendly with them. At the same time tree plantation is necessary for their living and the abolition of Entellus can be saved.
By implementation the project local fruit`s production will be increased for tree plantation. In future they have no food problem. Local people and others will show good behaviour and humanity with the Entellus. They will get medical treatment from wild animal hospital. Thus Entellus will get best opportunity for leading a smooth life. Wild animals are most important for environment. So the environment and the effect of climate change will be balanced by saving Entellus.
