We are very much grateful for spearing your valuable time to go through this letter of acknowledgement, thanks and appreciation for your tremendous contributions which has brought a lot of change in the lives of our beneficiaries throughout 2022. With your contribution we have enjoyed a season of love, concern and care which has foster a lot of change in the lives of these less fortunate. We are marvel with your social and humanitarian contribution towards these children, their families and The Needy Today. This has really speaks volume in the lives of these children.

Your roles have been fascinating since you opted to join GlobalGiving Foundation in helping meaningful projects like ours. Some of these viable causes like ours do not attract major funding, but they are more real than even the ones that do. GlobalGiving has made the cries of these less fortunate be heard. Your contributions means the whole world to us, which has lift the poor out of poverty, give voice to the voiceless, agitate for the oppress, and creating and building bridges together for a better world. Your donations have made dropping out of school is no longer a reality within our areas of operations, continued campaign on ending early child marriages, FGM, Teenage pregnancy, Gender based violence, trained community volunteer to report on early child marriages, monitoring litigation on rape cases for minors in high courts.

Our quest for success was far fetched until you came around to support these causes by contributing your hard earning money and suggestions. From the depth of our hearts, we sincerely appreciate all your major contributions both recurring and one-off. Even those who didn’t contribute financially but help create awareness about these causes; you are well appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

You are truly a special partner to us, for putting smiles on the faces of these beneficiaries. Also, you have decided to support our mission and vision which is well appreciated, because of this we shall forever remain grateful to you and rest of your families for your unending love you continue to manifest. You are really one in a million, despite all the important things you have to address like family issues, cars, fuel, food, housing, etc you still squeeze and make a meaningful donation. In spite of this tight economy we live, you still create a way to be a blessing to these less fortunate. Your support has been really great especially creating more awareness by letting others know about our causes.

We called you friends and partners because we share common goals and ambition in helping these beneficiaries. Because of your contributions a lot has been blessed and we will continue to appreciate you endlessly for your countless support.

I was actually pondering if you were not here with us to achieve this huge success and brining a lot of smiles on the faces of these beneficiaries. How exactly it should have been without you. God will reward you abundantly for such sacrifices in helping these children regain their lost glory. Because of this and all that you intend doing God in heaven will bless you and all that concerns you.

We will continue to update you about our achievement and how your monies are spent. We cannot sit down silently by failing to wish you happy Christmas and prosperous New Year in advance and God’s richest blessings.

Furthermore, our campaigns are online and they need more support to meet the needs of poverty stricken children left behind, to access their basic rights and achieve great success. Dear Donors and GlobalGiving,

The Girl mother Project is a Life Changing activity which is improving the lives of girls in  various communities in Rural Sierra Leone more especially in the Northern Region. This project has become more popular due to its role in the lives of these girl children, giving rights and power to girls has been the bedrock of this project, which has helped a lot of girls regain their lost hopes and dignities. The organisation engaged in mass sensitisation in various communities including Moria-Panhouse, Mathinka, Keteh, Moria, Mokondo, Laya, Kerefay and Rokuprr about the important of educating the girl child and also frustrate the efforts of the cultural barreries, that is causing problems for girls in these communities. The traditional leaders in these various communities says that they have never got such an opportunity to receive messages of hope and support from any organisation.The intervention of our organisation has brought about renewed hopes and confidence in the lives of these girls. 

With the support from Loreal Fund for Women and GlobalGiving Foundation, the organisation was able to conduct training for women and girls in sustainable agriculture practices, business and gender. The organisation form gender champion groups in all project communities, comprising of 5 men and 5 women. Upon successful completion of the training seeds were given to these women and girls for planting to cushion the problem of food shortages in their respective homes. Now, they have harvest  their rice and groundnut which really shows bumpy harvest of rice. 

During this training and focus group discussions the organisation use the platform to educate these women and girls about the need of educating the girl child and also explain about the need to end early and forceful marriages in the various communities. This idea was grabbed by all present and responded with thunder clapping. 

The project still continues with it engagement to end or stop early and forceful marriages. From our engagement, we came to realise that bike riders are more in the habit of impregnating young girls, our focus was shifted to engage these riders in an effort to cushion this situation.  

We are working very hard along with law makers to popularise the child right act, so people will be well aware about it and also emphases on the dangers of rape and sexual assaults.
