The Aumazo project aims to transform girls' lives in rural communities by providing quality education and safe boarding high schools. The organization is determined to break down the barriers that prevent girls from progressing in their studies by constructing critical facilities, including toilets. The nurturing learning environment done in phases enables girls to remain close to their families. The project ignites girls to reach their brilliance and contribute positively to their community.
Girls in most rural communities have been deprived of quality upper secondary education. The absence of nearby boarding facilities means they must journey to distant cities, disrupting familial harmony and contributing to high dropout rates. Our project aims to change this narrative. By establishing a supportive boarding high school in their communities with safe sanitary facilities, we are paving the way for a brighter future for these girls.
Aumazo is determined to complete the visionary boarding high school with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) curriculum already under construction! We've built the library and two classrooms, and with help, we'll add toilets by September 2024, finally welcoming girls in our school. Safe sanitation facilities mean uninterrupted learning, empowering girls to reach their brilliance. Imagine a future filled with bright female scientists, engineers, and artists! It's possible!
With the completion of this boarding high school, girls in rural areas will no longer face obstacles to quality education. Safe dormitories and essential facilities such as toilets will alleviate travel burdens, ensure consistent attendance, and reduce dropout rates.
