Dear Friends,
Greetings from the Indian Dreams Foundation!
On 22nd December, IDF organized an awareness workshop on menstrual hygiene management with adolescent girls to promote menstrual rights and hygiene practices to stay healthy and happy.
The details of the workshop are given below,
Community Name/ Venue: IDF’s Resource Centre, Agra
Beneficiaries: Adolescent girls
Total Number of Participants: 40 girls
Item Distributed: Distributed Smiley Kit that includes sanitary pads, Soap, shampoo, paste
“Thanks to team Smiley Days who are timely providing important information and information on our periods. A few years ago, my period days were so scary and uncomfortable. I used to use the cloth to soak my period blood because I was unaware of the period's hygiene. Those days I felt itching and my vagina got a foul smell. But now I understand the importance of periods hygiene and follow all the practices that help me to stay healthy”, said Priya (Name Changed).
We warmly invite you to consider making a year-end donation to go toward promoting menstrual hygiene management in girls and women in 2023.
Thanks & Regards,
Team IDF
