Happy International Women’s Day 2022!
Indian Dreams Foundation team celebrated IWD 2022 with the adolescent girls and women on 8th March 2022 and shared a beautiful time together. While empowering and sensitizing them towards their better future by adopting healthy & hygienic practices during menstruation.
To mark the celebration more impactful, the IDF team greeted every woman by putting Red Tika (Red Spot) on the forehead or between the eyebrows to mark the symbol of dignity, power, empowerment and confidence. Women were happy to receive such respect from Tika.
One of the women named Nirmala (name changed) said, "I had never put Tika on my forehead, even no one put this, because in our society Tika mostly put on the men's forehead as a symbol of respect. But today I am feeling really pleased and motivated.”
More than 120 women and girls were participated and celebrated IWD 2022 with full of enthusiasm.
