Team IDF Wishes You and Your Loved Ones a Joyous & Bright DIWALI
Diwali, the festival of lights is the most joyous and celebrated festival of the year. The festival rituals include shopping, decorating homes, and exchanging gifts and wishes. It’s considered to be the best time of the year when Enlightenment restores Misery.
On Monday, 24th October 2022, we had Diwali Celebrations at IDF’s resource centre for girls and women. The beneficiaries and IFD team members took an active part and celebrated Diwali enthusiastically. The Diwali puja was followed by sweets and eatables distribution.
The girls were excited and decorated the entire centre with flowers and colourful rangoli. They demonstrated their dancing skills and the Smiley team taught healthy menstruation habits to the girls and women.
Let's spread smiles and joy this festival season by encouraging girls and women to follow menstrual hygiene practices to stay healthy and happy.
One small step taken by all of us can bring along a big difference in someone else’s Diwali.
Support the underserved girls and women by providing them with Smiley Days Kits – a kit for dignity and pride.
Thanks & regards,
Team IDF
