The team collected a few testimonials from the participants during the session,
Shushma (name changed) participant said, "My daughter‘s periods started a couple of months ago, I noticed her changing behaviour. She became shy and refused to go to school during periods. I tried to ask the reason but she always refused to discuss me.” She added, “I attended today’s workshop with my daughter and personally received counselling from Didi (the team member), she described everything and talked with my daughter regarding periods. Now I am happy that today I am witness to my daughter’s smile. She is really happy. Thank you IDF’s team for the session”.
Mona (name changed) 15 years old girl said, "I was afraid during my periods, I thought the blood coming from my vagina was the reason for some illness. I never discussed the periods with anyone but now I can talk about it confidently with you Didi. You are the only one with whom I feel so comfortable and secure talking about my periods' issues. Thank you, Didi”.
Many thanks again for your support and for changing the lives of many girls through MHM education.
We will continue to keep you updated about our work, events, and story of change
Thanks & Regards,
Team IDF
