Dear Brook
Your sponsorship did double duty — Marion graduates as a pharmacist AND she’s now leading the next generation.
Training Complete: After 2 years of study, Marion finished her Certificate in Pharmacy at International Paramedical Institute – Maya. She studied June 2024 to June 2026 and sat for UHPAB national exams last month. Results arrive August 2026.
Your Impact: Because you funded her tuition, Marion focused on books, not fees. She completed every requirement and is now exam-ready.
In Marion’s Words:
“I’m so grateful for this chance. I studied hard because someone believed in me. While I wait for results, I want to practice at a pharmacy so I keep my skills sharp. My dream is to serve patients in my community.”
Next Chapter — Health Champion: Marion won’t wait. She’s joining “Train 60 Girls as Health Champions in Uganda” as a lead peer educator in Kampala/Wakiso. She’ll train girls aged 16-20 during school breaks to teach hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health + first aid in schools and homes. A pharmacist leading health champions = stronger communities.
Marion is also seeking a supervised pharmacy placement for these 2 months to keep practicing.
We’ll share her August results with you. Thank you for investing in one girl who now trains sixty.
Best,
Project Team
