Challenge

The problem is that girls in deprived communities of Ghana have limited or no access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education due to poverty, lack of resources, cultural norms, and inadequate infrastructure, leading to gender inequality, missed career opportunities, and a growing digital divide.

Solution

The RoboGirl Project empowers girls in deprived communities with hands-on robotics and STEM training, mentorship, and digital tools. It builds confidence, promotes gender equality, and prepares them for future tech careers, helping to bridge the digital divide and break the cycle of poverty through education and skills development.

Long-Term Impact

The RoboGirl Project has the potential to create lasting change by increasing the number of girls from deprived communities who pursue STEM careers, leading to improved economic opportunities and gender equality. Over time, these empowered girls can become role models, innovators, and leaders who contribute to community development and national progress.
