Challenge

The number of Nigerian female adolescent living and making a living on the streets is increasing everyday in Nigeria, and this has made these young women more vulnerable to the vices of some unscrupulous persons in our society. This has been attributed to economic factors, exposure to all forms of risks and recently, COVID-19 pandemic. The result is the proliferation of prostitution among the adolescents with its attendant problems like psychological reactions and psychosocial damage.

Solution

This project will empower 100 young women with Cybersecurity and Mobile app development skills in the premises of cognitive and creative thinking. They will thus have a new way of life and develop their potentials to becoming firstclass developers and trainers. They shall in turn train 10 persons each to produce 1000 new developers. They will also use their analytical and problem-solving skills to produce apps that will solve major problems and thus giving them societal and financial values.

Long-Term Impact

This project will reduce the increasing rate of prostitution and crimes among our girls and our youths generally. It will also create jobs for them to cater for their needs and that of their immediate family members. It will thus address the significant impact of poverty and unemployment in the country gradually. in essence, it will increase our IGR as we create more Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos.
