A child's future should not be defined by the loss of a parent. This project will move 100 orphaned and vulnerable children from neglect or institutional care into safe, loving foster families while keeping them in school. Through family placement, education support, and professional supervision, children receive stability, protection, and hope. Donor support directly transforms childhood trauma into opportunity, dignity, and a chance for lifelong success.
Without family care, orphaned children face devastating odds. Many live in overcrowded orphanages or with relatives who cannot meet their needs, leading to neglect, emotional trauma, and school dropout. Economic pressure often pushes children into labor instead of classrooms. Lacking stable caregivers and education, these children are far more likely to remain trapped in poverty and social exclusion throughout their lives.
Family-based care works-and this project delivers it. We will recruit, train, and carefully screen 100 foster families to provide safe, nurturing homes. Each child will receive school fees, uniforms, books, and essential care items. Trained social workers will conduct regular monitoring visits, while foster parents and children receive counseling and peer support, ensuring accountability, child safety, and measurable progress.
When children grow up in families, outcomes change for life. This project ensures 100 children experience love, protection, and consistent education during critical developmental years. They will remain in school, build emotional resilience, and gain the foundation needed for independence. By strengthening community foster care systems, the project creates sustainable child protection solutions that benefit families and communities long after funding ends.
