Hi dear (new) donors and friends,
Thank your for reading our reports, we are always happy to inform you on our journey!
We would to take the oppertunity to evaluate the water project this year; we have donated some rolls to make a water tap, but we heard that the water costs money to tap. It is not much, but every bit of money saved, makes the live easier of these people.
The idea is to make the people more self sufficient by handing out water barrels to collect rainwater from their own roofs. They can use that for drinking (after boiling) but for watering the plant or trees in the dry period it is perfect. We gonna investigate what the size of the barrels must be and how much budget is neccesarry to start. The location is not yet known, but we will communicate with the ECC (Environmental Conservation Committee) to monitor this project too.
Hope you will support this change of plans and we let you know how it evolves.
Best Regards,
Pendaeli Amos and Peter de Laat
