Hi Dear donors & Friends,
The representive of our Dutch donors, Kees, visited our project in the period of 9-12 April 2026. During his visit, he visited 4 villages (Shishtoni, Mbaaseni, Muungano, Malula) where the Makilenga water project with the financial help of DHF had organised extra waterpoints.
Especially women and children do not have to walk long distances anymore to fetch water. The water point on the main photo was finished recently after het donation of 32! water pipe rolls.
In the other photo Kees received a Maasai Shuka as sign of great happiness for the availability of water close to the community. The women were jubilating 3 times for our donors!
On the far left the manager of Makilenga Mr. Senyaeli Mbise, second on the left the Chairman of the Board of Makilenga. Also in this community the women were jubilating for the water project.
The visit was a very big succes and we hope we can donate more water pipe rolls in the near future.
Warm Regards,
Pendaeli Amos & Peter de Laat
