You can make a difference in the lives of people who are fighting to escape poverty and recover from crisis. What can your holiday gift do? Concern helps people fleeing conflict, persecution and poverty in 29 of the poorest places across the globe. Gifts like warmth, health, and opportunity, often taken for granted, are essential and urgently needed. You can help children and their families do more than just survive this winter - you can give them the hope and resources to thrive.
Millions of children affected by poverty, disaster, and crisis will be left out in the cold this winter. Concern works with the poorest and most vulnerable in 29 countries to help address this problem. In places like Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey, refugees lack shelter, clean water, education, and health services; in Malawi, floods wipe out crops, leaving families without an income and in constant fear of hunger; in Ghana, many mothers and babies do not survive childbirth.
Last year we reached 7.4 million people. We need your help to ensure that we reach just as many people next year with services that help them graduate from poverty or recover from crisis. Your support means that when an emergency strikes, our first responders can deliver lifesaving shelter, clean water, and hygiene kits. We will also continue working with communities to educate women, give mothers access to health services, and train women to start and manage their own businesses.
Your support enables us to stay in places affected by emergencies or crisis long after the first responders and camera crews have left. Our staff work shoulder-to-shoulder with the communities they serve, empowering people living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs, achieve their rights, and take charge of their own development.
