As we mentioned in our previous reports that on every special occasion we make a visit to different orphanage and celebrate that day or festival with orphans and gift them teddy bears.

Just like last year, we decided to celebrate this Eid with orphans because not many things are more rewarding than seeing a child’s face brighten as they are given a gift – this is the perfect opportunity to make their Eid extra special.

Eid is a special blessing of Almighty Allah for the Muslims after the month-long prayers. This day brings the message of love, affection and brotherhood and teaches us to include the deprived segments of the society in the joys of Eid. Providing an opportunity to the impecunious strata to enjoy the happy occasions of Eidul Fitr is Muslims religious and moral obligation. Fasting during Eid-ul-Fitr is forbidden and Muslims across the world make the most of the occasion, enjoying good food and the company of loved ones. We can achieve salvation in this life and hereafter by helping the needy and the poor to share the joys of this auspicious day.

During traditional Eid celebrations, children are given new clothes and gifts of toys and sweet treats. However, millions of youngsters across the world have never experienced the joy and excitement of receiving an Eid present and just keeping this in mind we planned “Eid with Orphans” and gave out teddy bears to many kids to make them a part of our celebration and to make them feel special and loved.

We want to keep doing it, because we were able to see that happy face of a kid who never had a toy or got a gift in his life and now has his very own teddy bear. For many people it must be hard to understand that how come this one little thing like a teddy bear could make such a huge difference but we know it because we can see it …. And that’s why we always share our experiences and feelings via these reports with you all so you, our wonderful donors could understand that how you guys are helping us in achieving our target to make everyone happy or transform their lives by believing in the goodness of others.

Ne Year - New Wishes

The Hunger For Love Is Much More Difficult To Remove Than The Hunger For Bread.

We at Dawood Global Foundation – Educate a Girl actually believe in the above statement and that’s why we spread love wherever and whenever we could and that’s how we began the programme of give an orphan a teddy bear.

In our previous reports, we have clearly mentioned that a teddy bear is just not a stuff animal and the reason that we give these out to orphans is not to tick a box of being nice… in fact it’s a result of a whole research and different facts and figures that we have mentioned before that it’s actually a way to give these orphans a friend… and sometimes to make them feel loved and cared…

This is why we began to have different visits to different orphanages on some special occasions and festivals like Eid, Christmas, Children’s day etc.

In our last report we shared with you about our special visit on Christmas to orphanage where this time we gave out teddy bears to some disable kids and how it gave us a real pleasure.

After that we planned to make some more special visits and on new year we have made and planned a whole calendar to celebrate our days with the orphans and we are so excited for this new year 2018 and pray to God that he help us more to bring smiles to these innocent faces in this year.

All we want to achieve is to make these kids feel loved so they understand the importance of this emotion and make it their mission in life to give back to others whenever they could because that’s the real purpose of life. That’s why god has blessed some people with extraordinary things which we think is a responsibility that god has given them, that they are supposed to look after those who are deserving and god will bless them more.

We at Dawood Global Foundation would like to wish all of you a happy new year and thank you so much for all your help in the year 2017 which enabled us to do something for the orphans. We wanna do much more and we will keep doing it, all we need is your support and help. So join us and help us in transforming lives.
