Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank the donors who have supported the Give a Village of 500 People Access to Safe Water project. Your support reflects concern for communities facing daily water challenges. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the borehole construction and installation.
In many rural areas of North Central Nigeria, families continue to rely on unsafe water sources such as streams and ponds. This exposes them to illnesses like typhoid, cholera, and diarrhea, which affect both children and adults.
Accessing water is also a daily burden. Women and children often walk long distances to fetch water, reducing time for school, work, and other important activities. These conditions affect health, education, and overall well-being within the community.
This project is designed to install a solar-powered borehole that will provide safe and reliable water to 500 residents. The system will serve as a central water source, reducing health risks and easing the burden of water collection.
With clean water available, families can live healthier lives, children can attend school more regularly, and households can focus on productive activities.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this project and bring safe water to the community.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
