Just a quick note to report that we now have more than 10,000 books in our hands. The challenge, and privilege, now is to get them into the hands of disadvantaged children throughout the country.
We've started calling out to nonprofits and individuals who work directly in poor communities and public schools to help us out with the distribution. So far, we've committed 3,000 books to various partners all over the Philippines, and do hope to hand all the books out in the next few weeks, just in time for Christmas!
We'll definitely have pictures of the children with the books in our next report. But this is just to thank you all for your support and generosity... Please continue telling your friends about the project. :-)
