Lately we’ve been had a lot of girls out on their work experience attachment. The first to start was those doing Nurse Aid who have covered topics such as patient care, taking urine and stool samples, damp dusting and of course managing the risk of infection from Covid or elsewhere.
The Cosmetology class recently completed their specialism training and can now perform a variety of procedures on both hair and skin and are already bringing a little glamour into people’s lives.
One of the girls named Patience, recently starting on the programme took a moment to note how she was surrounded by girls with similar experiences - as our programme is tailored to support those who need it most.
Patience said “I realised that I am learning with girls of same levels. I have also learnt some new things here. It really a great school indeed.”
