Give An Education To A Trash Picker's Child

According to UNICEF Indonesia COVID-19 Response Situation Report: April –June 2022, the government of Indonesia launched a National Immunization Month aiming to immunize more than 36 million children against vaccine preventable diseases. And Following the revision of the school reopening regulation in April 2022, all schools are required to conduct 100 per cent face-to-face learning starting from the new school year in mid-July 2022.

90 students under our XSEducation program have all back and settling in to the school routines since a month ago.

Our Kindergarten have enter into our second batch of students since we started last year during pandemic. And we are happy to see our last year grade 12 have decided to pursue their higher education by going to college, plus 1 of the kindergarten teacher also has decided to pursue further education. We are now have 15 college students.

At the start of new school year, one of our main program is providing school supplies to all students, and they are very much looking forward to receive backpack, shoes, uniforms, books, pencils, etc. This is very important for the parents and the students as that is the sign of readiness for the kids to start their first day of school.

The parents are relief that their children can now spend their times during the day at school and the children are also much happier that they can meet their friends and having much better education at school.

Nevertheless, with the help from donator through GlobalGiving XSProject – XSEducation, children in Cirendeu are able to continue their education every day.
