Dear friends and supporters:
We are more than happy to announce that our youth at risk from San Juan and Canóvanas will enjoy a sociocultural activity this weekend! Thanks to your support 20 more youth will participate in one adventure.
Because of your generosity, these students will attend an enrichment activity at Pastoreo farm in Dorado. Here the youth will enjoy a maze trip where they will be in contact with some animals and discover and learn about Puerto Rico's flora.
This activity is perfect to nurture their creativity while they find the exit of the maze. They will practice abilities such as communication and collaboration while they work as a team in this activity. This trip for the farm contributes to their cultural knowledge about animals and flora of Puerto Rico. And this adventure will motivate them to explore, participate in exterior activities and do team work.
Can´t wait to share with you the achievements and pictures of youth from San Juan and Canóvanas! Thank you for keeping Puerto Rico Youth at Risk vibrant, strong and ready to offer more programs and activities for our youth.
With gratitude,
The Jovenes de Puerto Rico en Riesgo, Inc. team
