Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Give Free Cancer Screening on World Cancer Day project. At this time, no donations have been received, so preparations for the screening activity have not yet started.
Across many communities in Nigeria, access to early cancer screening remains limited. Many people are unable to afford tests or do not have nearby facilities where they can get checked.
As a result, cases are often discovered late, when treatment becomes more difficult and costly. This continues to affect families who could have benefited from early detection.
This project is designed to offer free cancer screening during the World Cancer Day walk, creating an opportunity to reach large numbers of people in a single event. Medical staff will provide tests, basic guidance, and referrals for follow-up care where needed.
With early screening, more people can detect health issues on time and seek care before complications arise.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this outreach can take place and benefit those in need.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
