MCV initiative identifies curably blind children and adults in Pakistan who have so far remained untreated due to poor medical access.It is estimated that there are 3560000 eyes with visual acuity < 6/60 are in need of cataract surgery, triggered by population growth and increasing life expectancy especially in Pakistan.it is estimated that 10000 out of every I.00 million peoples are living with cataracts in Pakistan.Cost is the most frequently reported barrier in accessing eye care service
