A 2014 graduate of the University of Guyana, former SAGE Scholar Kevin Morgan is employed by the Petroleum Division of the Government of Guyana. Kevin works with a group of petroleum engineers to help regulate the oil and gas industry at a technical level. As a lawyer who completed his law degree at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago, Kevin also serves as a law teacher at President’s College.
He spends his free time volunteering with young people involved in the Golden Grove Dynamic Football Club, reigning champions of the East Demerara Football Association. According to Kevin, "We are using the sport as a means to get youths off the streets, and to otherwise direct their energies positively on the playfield."
Kevin embodies many of SAGE's core values as a professional and active community member. We are honored to have been a part of his journey and look forward to hearing about his future accomplishments.
