Among all our activities throughout the year, The Eid al-Adha / Qurban Campaign, is of special importance for LOSEV. With Qurban donations, we provide and distribute much-needed fresh meat products to our children under cancer treatment and families in poverty in the next 12 months.
For children fighting leukemia and cancer, proper nutrition is a vital part of treatment. %87 of families registered to LOSEV face severe economic hardship during their child's treatment journey. Long treatment periods often force parents, especially mothers, to leave their jobs and dedicate themselves entirely to hospital care and recovery processes. As food prices continue to rise, access to protein-rich nutrition becomes increasingly difficult for vulnerable families.
Through the Campaign, supporters can make meaningful holiday donations to help children with leukemia and cancer receive essential nutritional support throughout the year. The donated meat is then carefully processed, preserved, and distributed throughout all 12 months. These meat packages provide critical protein support to children and families who cannot regularly afford nutritious meals. Families receive assistance not only during Eid, but continuously throughout the year.
By helping provide regular access to nutritious food, this campaign strengthens children physically and emotionally throughout their treatment process. Consistent protein support contributes to healthier recovery conditions, stronger immune systems, and improved quality of life for children battling leukemia and cancer.
