During this reporting period, the project received USD 254.75 from GlobalGiving. These funds were used to provide nutritional support allowances for 42 kidney patients in Quang Tri Province, with each patient receiving VND 150,000.
In areas such as Quang Tri and Quang Ngai (Kon Tum), the project prioritizes nutrition support rather than treatment costs. This approach is based on the reality that many patients do not incur additional treatment expenses beyond what is covered by national health insurance, while post-dialysis nutrition costs are not covered. Due to their difficult circumstances, many patients are unable to afford essential nutritional supplements after each dialysis session.
Although modest, this support helped patients maintain necessary nutrition during long-term dialysis treatment and eased financial pressure on their families. We sincerely thank our donors for their continued generosity and solidarity with kidney patients in Vietnam.
