Dear friends,
Thank you to everyone who has viewed this project and shown interest in it. Although no donations have been received yet, the need behind this project remains urgent and real. We believe it is important to explain why this work matters and why early support can change lives.
In many rural parts of Nigeria, children go through primary and secondary school without ever touching a computer. Some schools do not have electricity, let alone computer rooms or learning tools. Yet these same children are expected to compete in a world where basic computer skills are now a requirement for higher education, jobs, and even simple daily tasks. This gap between rural and urban children continues to widen, keeping many families trapped in poverty.
Studies show that early exposure to technology improves learning outcomes and future earning potential. Without these skills, rural children are left behind before they even have a chance to try. This is not due to lack of ability, but lack of access.
This project plans to provide 500 children with hands-on computer learning for the first time in their lives. The program will introduce basic computer use, simple coding, and safe learning tools in a supportive environment. Lessons will be practical, child-friendly, and focused on building confidence, not fear of technology.
By giving these children early digital skills, we help prepare them for further education and future jobs. Families benefit when children can support learning at home and access new opportunities. Over time, this can help break long-standing barriers in rural communities.
Your support will help turn this plan into action and give children a fair start in today’s digital world.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
