Activities and relevant actions

16 children and adolescents are under preparation for discharge, a process that is scheduled for late 2016, according to the achievement of the goals of the individual care plan.

Psychological care processes were updated achieving progress in objectives of the Comprehensive Care Plan.

Meetings with the competent authorities were conducted, achieving recognize significant advances and limitations of children and adolescents. Generating short-term expectations.

Free expression was enhanced in children and adolescents through the proper use of the "Suggestions mailbox"

We achieved increased attention to mental health specialists, including psychology specializing in Sexual Abuse and Domestic Abuse Chronic, Psychiatry framed in monthly checks of different diagnoses of children and adolescents, psychiatric emergency service and neuropsychology. This makes the inter-institutional and interdisciplinary work is optimized.

Academic, nutritional, among other achievements.

Children and adolescents were able to enhance their fine motor skills, through the recognition and identification of various instructional materials used in the project "Building with hands".
It is important to highlight the interdisciplinary work, regarding the interconsultation with the area of psychiatry, psychology and neuropsychology. This provides stability to the process of each of the children with psychiatric diagnosis or some kind of requirement of the other areas involved in mental health.
In the project "Dialoguing We are More" children and adolescents strengthened to enhance fundamental tools group living, also able to express their experiences making interesting contributions to group dynamics.
In The audit program "Bienestarina Mas" was achieved meet all the requirements established by Colombian Family Welfare Institute, achieving a rating of 100%, highlighting the proper use of the product and the acceptance of the beneficiaries of the preparations.
It highlighted the academic achievements of children and adolescents during the first two quarters of 2016, standing out in the educational community for the commitment and dedication with homework.

Activities with families

Families are active through different strategies for strengthening ties, including families that are outside of the city with difficulty moving to visit their children.
Families Actively participated in the 9 workshops scheduled by the interdisciplinary team, demonstrating commitment to the process of care for their children.
Under the project "Health Promotion and Disease Prevention" group workshop on oral hygiene was conducted with families of children and adolescents. In addition hygiene and self-care journey was made, which contributed to further strengthening the family dynamics.
The Individual counseling work continued, appearing as an opportunity for families to clarify their doubts regarding specific issues, promoting the effective exercise of their role with children and adolescents.

Educational activities

Children and teenagers enjoyed the visits to the recreational park "Los Tamarindos", Megaludoteca, "La Ladera" and Park "Los Pies Descalzos".
The participation of children and adolescents in the project "Building with Hands" is highlighted, where they raised awareness about the importance to recycle, through the realization of crafts, also helping care environment. In addition, they could express their emotions and enhance their initiative, imagination and artistic talents.
In the project "Exploring the Web" and "Promotion of Reading" children and adolescents were strengthened in the proper use of social networks and reading habit strengthened.
Children and adolescents went to the play "Window to Heaven" in theater "Matacandelas" also identified scientific inventions of Galileo Galilei.
In The vocational project "Building with Hands" children and adolescents developed crafts to decorate the Institution on the occasion of "Children's Day", also strengthened key elements to enhance motor skills, creativity and imagination.

New year, new dreams!

We obtained 98% compliance on the visit by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, for verification of standards and guidelines established for protection institutions.

During the quarter 10 children were integrated to their families to achieve the objectives in the process of comprehensive care.

Interconsultation with different health professionals such as psychiatrists and neuropsychologists strengthened, which enabled the establishment of targets for intervention oriented functionality of children and adolescents cognitive, behavioral, emotional, family and social level.

Achieving manage medications, some for free and others at low cost Institute of Health Provider based Guayaquil, Antioquia Mental Hospital Almacentro headquarters and a volunteer doctor for the treatment of children and adolescents with differential diagnoses.

We manage voluntary general practitioner performing medical assessments for free to strengthen the focus of children and adolescents.

100% of children and adolescents began the academic experience highlighting the motivation for the study and integration with children and adolescents in the sector.

proper assimilation of food is evidenced by the 43 children and adolescents, achieving increased weight and height of 100% of children and adolescents treated.

The strategy implemented by the area of pedagogy in accompanying tasks was strengthened by linking two students of the Training Centre of Antioquia that will support during 2016 with emphasis on the academic process.

Nine children were highlighted by the academic performance and commitment in Educational Institutions Manuel José Cayzedo and Miraflores.

Activities with families

Currently 15 children and teenagers are hanging out with their families with the aim of sharing outside the Corporation other spaces, and participating in activities with other members of the extended family. The experience has been evaluated positively achieving the objectives.

Fraternal meetings with protection agencies "Hogares PAN" and "Corporación Colina Amigo" achieving strengthen emotional bonds between children and adolescents and their institutionalized brothers were made.

The psychoeducational counseling and work continued appearing as an opportunity for families to clarify their doubts regarding specific issues, promoting the effective exercise of their role with children and adolescents.

Families positively assessed the services received at the Corporacion Superarse through satisfaction survey administered by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare.

Educational activities

Children and adolescents are in the process of choosing their representatives to the Institutional Government with the aim of promoting active participation in community life.

The children made crafts on the occasion of Women's Day and participated in pedagogical reflections that promote good treatment and respect for the female gender.

Film and Literature The project got children have tools on the importance of applying the different manners in living spaces.

Two young men were linked to processes of pre employment training at the National Apprenticeship Service and Systems Center Antioquia.

COMFAMA renewed the agreement to benefit children and adolescents project "Exploring the Web" and "Promotion of Reading".

New achievements for 43 children and adolescents

During this period we had valuable achievements:

- The Corporation Superarse celebrated 45 years of service to children and youth with a solemn
eucharist, it was a special meeting that was attended by children, adolescents, families, staff, board and organizations that are part of the institutional support network.

- Two children were integrated into their families, entering a child with declaration of adoptability and other with socio-legal infringement.

- Psychology area participated in the Youth Coexistence "What connects you with life" led by the program "Preparation for Independent Living", which aimed to encourage children and adolescents who are under preparation for discharge the recognition of protective factors and individual generativity in their life projects.

- Strengthened institutional management, 15 children were treated in Dentistry with volunteer professionals.

- The Neurological Institute of Colombia assigned neuropaediatric appointments contributing to the specialized care of four children.

- The Health Center of Loreto neighborhood is linked through the service of Optometry, with free delivery of lenses made for 6 children.

Academic, nutritional, among other achievements

- Eight children and teenagers received awards in their educational institutions, to stand out in their groups' efforts and dedication, "" Leadership "and" ownership ".

- The academic results were excellent, achieving the goal of promoting and objectives for 2015.

- Four brigades hygiene and self-care helping were performed, to strengthen the daily routines of children and adolescents.

- During the visit of ICBF (Colombian Family Welfare Institute) to monitor the processes of comprehensive care, they highlighted the excellent management “Bienestarina Más”, nutritional supplement.

- With educational institutions in the sector the process of support and commitment of the Corporation Superarse highlighting the academic achievements of children and adolescents during 2015 and the impact of raising teachers to handle special situations assessed.

Activities with families

- Currently 16 children and adolescents are coming with their families or relatives concerning the purpose of sharing out of the Corporation other spaces, and participating in activities with other members of the extended family. The experience was evaluated positively achieving the objectives.

- Nine workshops led by social work was issued, "Promotion of Good Treatment and Prevention of Child Abuse", "It is possible in Family" and "Family Friendly Blanca Luz Restrepo".

- The psychoeducational work and the work of counseling continued appearing as an opportunity for families to clarify their concerns against specific issues, promoting the effective exercise of their role with children and adolescents.

Educational activities

- Monitoring conducted with children and adolescents to the pact of coexistence and the "Due Process" showed introjection of the basic rules.

- Children and adolescents participated in six interdisciplinary workshops with an emphasis on healthy living and promoting appropriate interpersonal relations.

- The closure of teacher training processes was performed, highlighting the satisfaction of children, adolescents and families for the activities undertaken during the year.
