Robert was born in Medellin, 12 years ago, he never knew his parents, they left him abandoned in a garbage can, today he is looking for a home and parents who give him love.
Brayan, 9 years old, lived with his mother and his uncle. When his mother went out to work in the streets, the uncle sexually abused the child.
In Colombia, more than 40% of children suffer mistreatment, abuse or abandonment, of these, 70% of cases of sexual violence occur within the home.
SUPERARSE has protected more than 13,000 boys and young people, for 52 years, we have been serving children who have suffered violations, offering them opportunities to transform their lives, protection and prevention of their rights.
Through a foster home we care for abandoned or abused children, between 8 and 18 years old, for whom we cover all their needs such as housing, food, education, clothing and recreation.
In the support program for young people, "Autonomous Life", we accompany more than 70 young people, through counseling and professional guidance focused on their technical, technological and professional training, in order to promote comprehensive development and autonomy as a central axis. for their lives.
