Across Colombia, many children and young people face serious violations of their rights. Some grow up without a safe family environment, while others experience abandonment, neglect, or different forms of violence that prevent them from living freely, learning, and developing in a healthy way. These situations leave deep emotional marks and place their well-being and future at risk.
When a child is harmed or mistreated in the very place that should protect them, the pain becomes silent and lasting. The absence of love, safety, and guidance weakens their self-esteem and creates uncertainty about their future. No child should carry such burdens alone.
At SUPERARSE, we are committed to giving these children a new beginning. We aim to welcome 50 more children, and to achieve this, we are building a new residential home in Medellín, Colombia. This space will offer protection, stability, and specialized support for children who have suffered rights violations or who have no safe place to call home. Here, they can heal, regain trust, and rebuild their life project with dignity.
