Hello Amazing Supporters!
We wanted to let you know the latest news and achievements of Entre Tribus. We have been doing a lot and have different new plans for the near future.
Volunteers: We are conducting more interviews to conplete the group of volunteers that will implement the dental and nutrition projects in Zambia. Also, the volunteers for Uganda are almost ready for the upcoming year!
We are also still looking for medical doctors who want to join our volunteer team – so if you know of someone who wants to live either 6 months or a year working as a volunteer medical doctor in Zambia, tell them to send us an email to contacto@entretribus.cl.
Sustainable Products Production and Sales: We are still making more and new products, trying to help the environment recycling and supporting the African culture using African cloths (chitenge) and recycled clothing. We have been attending some small businesses fairs, including for Christmas time, so people can purchase and gift items that carry a meaningful story and contribute to African communities. Also, in addition of selling the products in the non-profit's website, we are now in Ripley’s Marketplace.
GlobalGiving: We have received donations from thirteen new people since November, and we are absolutely grateful for those who have contributed to “Give Zambians the health they deserve”. For now, we have collected a total of USD $2,635.
On other news, we are trying to apply for grants that are aligned with our non-profit’s mission, so we can achieve more and have a greater impact with our current projects and new ideas we have.
Regarding our foundation's staff and supporters, we are having a change since we are now looking for a new Executive Director. The good news is that we published the job offer and have received numerous of amazing applicants.
