Thanks to your generosity during Giving Tuesday 2024, Taller Salud was able to deepen our impact across communities in Puerto Rico, especially in the northeast region. Your donation helped transform lives through initiatives that address health, gender equity, food insecurity, and community resilience.

What We Accomplished Together

With the $2,085.97 raised, we were able to:

Address Food Insecurity

• Distributed food boxes to families in Loíza and Canóvanas.

• Supported 35 local women farmers and food vendors through direct purchases.

• Hosted 3 community cooking workshops promoting ancestral food knowledge and nutrition.

Advance Community Health and Safety

• Delivered sexual and reproductive health kits to 60 women and girls, alongside educational materials on their rights and resources.

• Distributed printed Community Protection Guides to over 100 residents in hurricane-prone zones.

Empower Youth and Create Safe Spaces

• Engaged 80+ young people in workshops on healthy masculinities, consent, and violence prevention.
