Dear Friends and Supporters,
Back in February we set ourselves a Big Hairy Audacious Goal. 40,000 extra meals for children in Brazil by the end of 2026. We said we could do it with your help. And you showed up.
Since that report you have helped us fund 3,000 meals. Three thousand times a child sat down at school with a full plate in front of them instead of an empty stomach. That is not nothing. That is everything. Thank you.
But we have 37,000 meals still to go and 6 months to do it. So we need to pick up the pace and we need you with us.
Here is where we are. Every single school day we are feeding 9,000 children across Brazil. For most of them this is the only proper meal they will eat all day. When that meal is there, they learn. They stay in school. They get to just be kids. When it is not there, they sit in class hungry and everything is harder. It really is that simple.
So here is our challenge to you this month. Can you be the reason 10 more children eat today? That is just $10. A class of 25 kids? That is $25. One child fed every school day for a month? $30. These are not big numbers but the impact is enormous and every single donation moves us closer to that 40,000 goal.
And if you really want to make a difference, going monthly is the single best thing you can do. A monthly donation lets us plan ahead, buy food in bulk, and make every dollar stretch further. It is the engine that keeps this whole thing running.
