The planet isn't waiting-and neither are we!

By Marissa | Project Leader

Hey everyone!

Marissa here, and I want to start by sending a massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been sticking by us. We know times are tough right now, and to be totally transparent, funding has been pretty low lately. This has made our progress a bit slower than we originally hoped. But if there is one thing the Action Change family knows how to do, it’s stay resilient! We are not backing down, because the planet certainly isn't waiting around for us.

As the world has fully reopened, flights are packed, and life is moving at lightning speed again, our collective carbon footprint is climbing. Sadly, climate funding hasn't kept that same pace. But we believe climate action belongs to absolutely everyone, not just a select few.

That is why we are working harder than ever to weave "Green Strategies" into our massive network of 90 grassroots projects across 15 different countries! Whether it’s helping a school in Zimbabwe transition to solar power or assisting a wildlife project in Australia with reforestation, our goal is to empower local leaders to tackle immediate challenges—like hunger or animal rescue—without compromising the health of our Earth.

We can't do this without you. If you’ve been traveling again for business or fun, consider offsetting your moves with a donation to help us green-light these global strategies. Even just sharing our mission with your friends makes a massive wave of difference! Let’s make sure that as the world keeps moving forward, we take our beautiful planet right along with us.

With so much hope and determination,
