Program Progress Report for Development of Disable Children

 During the Reporting period, Several Important activities were organized to promote the rights, health and wellbeing of children in Jamalpur district,Bangladesh under the program of Grants for disabled children in Bangladesh. The programs focused especially on the development and empowerment of children with disabilities.

On the dated 3^rd January 2026 Educational materials and textbooks were provided to underprivileged students to support their learning and encourage school attendance. To protect vulnerable children from severe winter cold, blankets were distributed among children with disabilities and poor families.

 On the dated 21th January 2026 Discussion and opinion-sharing meetings were conducted with parents, students, and community members on promoting children’s and women’s health rights. These sessions helped raise awareness on child protection, education, hygiene, and social inclusion. As part of adolescent health support, menstruation hygiene packages were distributed to schoolgirls to improve their personal health and dignity. Health service activities, including therapy and rehabilitation support, were also arranged to improve the physical and mental condition of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

On the dated 27^th January 2026 on behalf of PROTIBANDHI SHISHU SHIKKHA O PARICHARJA SAMITY (PROSHIPS) successfully organized a Teachers Training Session on Teaching Methods & Curriculum Development for students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD). The training aimed to strengthen teachers’ classroom skills and promote children’s educational rights and empowerment.

The programs received strong support from local government authorities. The Upazilla Nirbahi Officer (UNO) attended several events as chief guest and encouraged the initiatives. Other government officials were also present as special guests, which strengthened coordination and community trust.

All activities were implemented successfully with active participation from students, parents, teachers, and community stakeholders. These interventions contributed significantly to improving health awareness, educational access, and social empowerment of children with disabilities. The overall impact of the programs has been highly positive and beneficial for the target community. Disabled children & disadvantaged children will get educational support, Assistive device, Therapy service & medical support as their needs which helps them for become Self dependent & Productive.
