Here at Marigold Farms, we grow seedlings/starters as free giveaways to those in the community looking to grow their own produce at home each season. We grow produce on our 1/4 acre land to donate to local food pantries, nonprofit food organizations, and to giveaway on our community cart. We donate 95% of the produce we grow to the community to help those who are food insecure. The other 5% we grow is left for pollinators as well as for seed saving.
There is a multitude of issues currently facing communities all over the world. Marigold Farms Inc hopes to be a leader by inspiring, empowering, and supporting the residents of Ventura County to make changes to their community by addressing both environmental issues and social issues. Here at Marigold Farms, we have combined both issues through our three programs; Soil to Soil Education, Grow-A-Garden, and the Community Support program. Each of our programs are fueled through our farm.
Marigold Farms Inc hopes to accomplish a community that comes together to help one another succeed in living a happy and healthy life. We hope through each of our programs that we are able to inspire, empower, and support our community and those surrounding us. Marigold Farms hopes to have a forever impact on how nonprofit community gardens or farms view what they are providing their community. We hope to inspire a free wave of educational farming information to everyone who is interested and to provide free produce and much more.
