This project will help us to maintain our humanistic and vocational training programs for young students from the periphery of Sao Paulo in situation of social vulnerability, enabling them for their first job placement, providing new perspectives for the future and a better quality of life for their families. The project will not only generate practical professional experience, but will also turn students into agents of transformation, aware and engaged with community problems.
Our organization is located in one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Sao Paulo, with high crime and homicide rates and low development index, compromising the education and expectations of most of its youth. The young people we assist come from low-income and unstructured families, lacking perspective, resources and qualification to start a career and change their reality, becoming more susceptible to drugs, violence and abandonment.
Our work will help students obtain qualification and professional experience, stimulating the motivation, personal development, change of attitudes and the acquisition of knowledge that will be applied in different areas of their lives. With the project, we will facilitate the students recruitment through partnerships with local companies, generating income for their family, greater social inclusion and better quality of life.
The project will help us capacitate 300 students, allowing them to be more involved with the community through greater awareness of the social issues and ways to contribute. As agents of transformation, our student will be able to carry out or support other community projects and the income obtained from professional placement will benefit several families and contribute to the development of the local commerce and initiatives.
