Dear Girls’ Education for Brighter Futures Supporters,
It is estimated that up to 20 million of girls may not return to school because of the COVID-19 pandemic (closure of schools, rising poverty, etc.). Graduate Women International (GWI) continues working tirelessly to coordinate and manage advocacy projects and initiatives on local, national and international levels that focus on building education funding.
We encourage you to follow our social media, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram because we organise GWI Fundraiser Friday. Every week we showcase meaningful projects and invite you to get involved. For instance, for Girls Education for a Brighter Future, if you donate 20$ USD, it will allow GWI to support girls’ education and lifeskills training to reduce poverty cycle; 50$USD will contribute to workshops to encourage girls to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Since 2015, GWI implemented successful projects in 14 countries and approximately 6 000 women were positively impacted. This has been possible thanks to your donations. Thus, funding Girls Education for Brighter Futures will continue this positive impact on girls’ educations. We will continue advocating for the safe and quality education.

The need for funding education is critical and is at record-low levels in many countries. In September 2021, GlobalGiving will organise a five-day crowdfunding campaign, named Little by Little. The principle is the following: all eligible donations up to 50$ USD per unique donor per organisation will be matched at 50% for the duration of the campaign.
