Dear Girls Education for Brighter Futures Donors,
We want to extend our gratitude for your donations to the GWI Girls Education for Brighter Futures programme. It is our pleasure to share with you that approximately 6000 women and girls around the world have been positively impacted by your generosity through the numerous projects undertaken by GWI in recent years. Your support for the GWI Girls Education for Brighter Futures programme will further extend our reach.
On 11 October, GWI marked the International Day of the Girl by inviting some of the young women who have been positively impacted by your generosity to share their thoughts, enriching the celebrations of the day. In her own words, one of the young women touched by your kindness expressed, “By investing in girls' rights, we are investing in the potential of half of the world’s population. This day serves as a reminder of the ongoing work needed to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a world where every girl can achieve her full potential”.
We are thankful for your contribution on our mission to achieve quality education beyond primary school.
GWI is energised by your support and we remain dedicated to eliminating the sociocultural, gender-related, and economic barriers that girls face in the pursuit of education.
With utmost appreciation,
Stacy Dry Lara, GWI Executive Director and Sonia Timalsina, GWI 2023 Fall Intern
