This report highlights the Hand-in-Hand Dialysis Aid Program for the first quarter of 2021, which covers the period from 1st January 2021 until 31st March 2021. In the first quarter of 2021, 28 kidney failure patients from the low-income earners or unemployed group were assisted via our Dialysis Aid Program, compared to 27 supported patients within the same period in 2020. Each patient receives dialysis fee subsidy ranging from RM130 to RM2,500 per month for a period of three months or more to ease their burden. 5 of the beneficiaries are new cases.
