The second quarter of 2021 has ended, as our Hand-in-Hand Dialysis Aid Program continues to provide much-needed assistance to underprivileged kidney failure patients so that they could continue their dialysis treatment in the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic and the economic impact it causes. This report highlights the program's status for the period from 1st April 2021 until 30th June 2021. In this quarter, our program supported 27 kidney failure patients from the low-income or unemployed group. Each patient receives a dialysis fee subsidy ranging from RM130 to RM1,500 per month to ease their burden. From these 27 beneficiaries, 5 are new cases.
