Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for your continued support of Helping Hands: Giving Orphans a Future. We are pleased to share our third project update and the progress made since our last report.

Current Fundraising Status

Total Funds Raised: USD 1,813
Project Goal: USD 11,400
Remaining Need: USD 9,587

While fundraising remains below our target, every contribution received has helped us continue supporting orphaned and vulnerable children who depend on this assistance.

Beneficiaries Supported

Currently, the project is supporting 55 orphaned and vulnerable children, including:

42 Hifz students
9 Madrasa students
4 Students enrolled in regular schools

These children come from financially struggling families who often face difficulties in accessing education, nutrition, and other basic necessities.

Progress Since Our Last Report

During this reporting period, we continued providing essential support to beneficiary children and their caregivers. Key activities included:

Educational assistance and school-related support.
Distribution of food and nutrition assistance to vulnerable families.
Provision of clothing and basic necessities.
Support for Hifz students and Islamic education.
Assistance with school supplies, uniforms, books, and stationery.
Regular follow-up visits and communication with caregivers.
Monitoring children's welfare, attendance, and educational progress.

The support has helped ensure that children remain connected to education and have access to essential daily needs.

Educational Support

Education remains one of the core priorities of this project. Through donor support, children have been able to continue their studies in:

Hifz-ul-Quran programs
Madrasa education
Regular primary and secondary school education

Many beneficiaries who were at risk of dropping out due to financial difficulties have been able to continue their studies and maintain regular attendance.

Impact on Beneficiary Children

The assistance provided through this project continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children by:

Reducing barriers to education.
Improving access to food and basic necessities.
Supporting caregivers facing economic hardship.
Encouraging children to remain in school and religious studies.
Providing stability and hope for children affected by the loss of parental support.
Strengthening the confidence and well-being of beneficiaries.

Although resources remain limited, the project continues to bring hope and practical assistance to those who need it most.

Challenges

The greatest challenge remains the funding gap between current donations and the resources required to fully support beneficiary children throughout the year.

Additional funding is needed to:

Expand support to more orphaned children.
Maintain uninterrupted educational assistance.
Improve access to healthcare and welfare services.
Provide additional educational materials and school supplies.
Strengthen child protection and monitoring activities.

Looking Ahead

In the coming months, we aim to:

Increase fundraising efforts and donor engagement.
Expand support from 55 children to 150 children.
Reach additional orphaned and vulnerable children.
Strengthen educational, welfare, and nutrition support programs.
Enhance monitoring and reporting systems.
Build sustainable partnerships for long-term project growth.

Annual Project Update

Funds Raised: USD 1,320

Project Overview

Helping Hands: Giving Orphans a Future is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children by providing essential care, education assistance, and a safe, nurturing environment. The project focuses on meeting children’s basic needs while also investing in their long-term development and emotional well-being.

Through this program, Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation – Nepal aims to ensure that orphaned children are not left behind due to poverty, loss of family support, or social vulnerability.

Current Progress

During the reporting period, we successfully raised USD 1,320, which allowed us to:

Provide basic food and nutrition support
Assist with school-related expenses
Offer clothing and essential daily needs
Maintain regular follow-up with beneficiary children and caregivers

While this support has made a meaningful difference, it represents only a small portion of the total annual requirement.

Funding Gap & Need for Support

The total annual budget required to sustain this project is USD 11,400. The remaining funding gap limits our ability to:

Support additional orphaned children
Ensure uninterrupted educational assistance
Provide consistent healthcare and psychosocial support
Expand monitoring and child protection services

Without additional funding, the continuity and scale of support remain at risk.

Why Continued Collaboration Matters

Orphaned children face long-term risks including school dropout, poor health, and social exclusion. Sustained donor collaboration allows us to:

Ensure stability and continuity of care
Improve educational retention and performance
Protect children from neglect, exploitation, and early labor
Help children grow into self-reliant and confident adults

Every contribution directly supports a child’s present needs and future opportunities.

Looking Ahead

In the coming year, we aim to:

Reach more orphaned and vulnerable children
Strengthen education and welfare support systems
Enhance monitoring and reporting for transparency

Project Overview

Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation – Nepal is committed to supporting vulnerable children by providing education, shelter, healthcare, and emotional care to orphans. Through the “Helping Hands: Giving Orphans a Future” program, we aim to empower orphans and give them hope for a brighter future.

Key Achievements (June–August 2025)

Education Support
- 45+ orphan children provided with school supplies, uniforms, and tuition fees.
- Regular classes and after-school activities conducted in Jamia-based centers.
Food & Shelter
- Daily nutritious meals provided to 45 orphans in our care centers.
- Safe and clean living arrangements maintained.
Healthcare
- 45 orphans received regular medical check-ups.
- Emergency healthcare support provided when needed.
Emotional & Spiritual Care
- Weekly counseling and Islamic studies sessions held.
- Special Eid program organized — giving children joy, clothes, and gifts.

Impact

Education: Increased school attendance and improved performance.
Well-being: Better nutrition, healthier children, reduced illness.
Confidence & Hope: Orphans feel supported, loved, and valued.

Challenges

Unfortunately, the project received only a very limited amount of funding during this period. Despite this, we stretched resources to maximize impact, but many more children are still waiting for support.

Next Steps (Sept–Nov 2025)

Expand support to an additional 50 orphans if funding allows.
Strengthen healthcare access through local clinics.
Provide skill-building workshops for older orphans.
