As we wrap up another fantastic year, let’s take a look at what your support of AfriKids has enabled in 2025.

Your AfriKids 2025 Wrapped is ready

Top Genre: Community-Powered Change

This year, you helped power long-term change for children and families in northern Ghana; not one-off moments, but progress that keeps playing on repeat.

Your Top Hits

Because of supporters like you, and the resilience and drive of the communities we work alongside, we:

Reached 38,000+ children. That’s more than half of Wembley Stadium filled with transformed lives

Helped more than 12,000 families to boost their livelihoods and overcome barriers to education

Drove record Back to School enrolment across three districts, with 4,458 children starting school on day one. 40% were new or returning learners who had previously dropped out of school!

That’s real lives, real futures, and real momentum.

Biggest Growth Moment

You turned up to support communities so they could:

Challenge harmful gender norms, like early marriage and child labour
Champion girl’s rights
Empower mothers to grow their own small businesses

That’s not just growth, that’s sustainability.

Highlight

Thanks to you, we smashed our fundraising target for the Big Give Match-Funded Christmas Challenge, raising over $120,000 to help keep thousands of girls safe, in school and learning.

On Repeat for 2026

Next year, we’re turning up the volume on education, supporting communities to:

Make education a shared priority, so families can plan for and manage the real costs of keeping their children in school
Build belief in every child’s potential, strengthening community commitment to keeping children learning
Lead change, demanding quality education that every child deserves
