Heal One World had a great Fall season highlighted by a very successfull Awareness Film Festival! Every year Skye hosts a 10 day festival highlighting films that bring to light important issues and education on our changing landscape. This year she and her team hosted over 200 films and more than 500 people came out to the event. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and took part in the festival.
Skye also started part 1 of a two part teaching series to create Tai Chi teachers! She is providing a 40 hour instruction on how to teach a Tai Chi Easy sequence and working to spread the benefits of movement through tai chi.
We also welcomed a new volunteer who is teaching Qi Yoga - a Tai Chi and Yoga class every Wednesday at 730pm. The class is gaining awareness in our community which is wonderful!
Miinkay, our Operations Manager and Craniosacral Therapist, has been able to share reduced cost treatments to our community and continues to hold space for the healing others may need. In addition Miinkay has been working with volunteer to improve our marketing efforts to make sure our community is aware of who we are and our free services.
OH and of course we have yoga classes every day, bootcamp, zumba, meditation, and Reiki healing circles. Our regular students remain dedicated and we are seeing one new student every other week! Thank you to everyone and all your support.
