Heal One World: Inner-City Preventative Healthcare

We started with being a part of the Yoga festival in Joshua Tree, Bhakti Festival. There we engaged thousands and offered cranial-sacral treatments as well as spoke about the Awareness Film Festival. We are still working on opening our wellness center there with a date of February 2015.

We were present at the Los Angeles Green Festival sharing health and wellness tips.

The Awareness Film Festival was a resounding success and we showed over 100 films with attendance over two thousand attendees! It was 10 days of films, music and art.  Winners included: The Starfish Throwers, The Kingdom Within, Love Bomb and many others. We were the Los Angeles festival premiere for the documentary film Pump featuring alternative fuel options.  Our gala honored Jim Carrey and his Better U Foundation as well as David Lynch and the David Lynch Foundation.  We are excited to have had John Raatz the founder of GATE (Global Alliance of Transformational Entertainment) in attendance as he spoke to work he along with Jim Carrey and David Lynch are doing to bring conscious media to the forefront.

We also brought on board and amazing Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner Lois Leonhardi. She is giving a free talk on how to be more balanced in your diet and lifestyle from ancient wisdom and practices proven over centuries.  She will be offering sliding scale personal one on one sessions from now on at Heal One World!

We also did kids yoga at the event Something In The Canyon in Malibu! 

Glady we were able to do demonstrations of Tai Chi and Yoga at the Paramount Health Fair and we offered magazines and information on wellness matters.

I was lucky to present a very well received presentation on Self-Care at the USC Caregivers 15th annual symposium.  We have had many offers to present from this and also treat more patients and give more demonstrations around the area.

We are honored to be chosen as a 2014 Top Rated Non-Profit by Great Non-Profits and looking forward to our own health fair along with the Midtown Shopping Center and Olympic Park Neighborhood Council. There will be over 33 vendors relating to health and wellness.  We are doing bilingual demo's of Yoga, Tai Chi, Tabata, Zumba and live music, chair massages and more. We are so excited to invigorate the neighborhood and spread awareness of all that is offered in our area.

Looking forward we will be at the Sundance Festival again this year and we are offering more Tai Chi and Sound Healing classes as well as a Tai Chi Leader training and expanded work with LAMP with wellness and awareness events.
