Middle East Expansion

In March, our team was prepared to travel to Israel to launch the very first Healing Base Camp inside the country. In July 2025, we successfully ran a pilot program in Cyprus for Israeli widows and children who lost family members in the October 7 attacks. Building on that experience, we partnered with the IDF Widows and Orphans Organization to organize a series of camps in Israel, but were forced to postpone due to the ongoing conflict and security situation.

We remain committed to this work. Our current plans include both a program in Israel and a separate program for Palestinian women and children in Jordan. We are hopeful that both can take place before the end of the year, though we are in a waiting period until the security situation stabilizes.

Why This Matters

This expansion represents an important step in our mission: growing beyond our work with Ukrainian families to serve other communities affected by conflict and trauma. The results we witnessed in Cyprus gave us confidence that our program can make a meaningful difference for a wide range of populations. We are eager to bring that same healing to families in this region.
