While the commitment of our team remains strong and the need for psychosocial support continues to grow, we must share with transparency that **donations for this project have been very limited**. This has significantly constrained our ability to offer the full range of activities, sessions, and resources that adolescents and caregivers urgently require.
Despite these financial challenges, we have continued to deliver essential support with the resources available:
Psychosocial Support Sessions:
Our psychologists and social workers have provided individual and small-group sessions, though at a lower frequency than initially planned due to limited funding.
- Emotional Containment for Families:
Caregivers have benefited from guidance and stress-management support, even though we have not yet been able to expand these sessions into a structured weekly program.
- Community-Building Moments:
We held a few creative and therapeutic activities that helped adolescents express emotions and connect with peers, but many workshop ideas remain on hold.
The demand from adolescents and families continues to rise, and without additional resources, we risk falling short of providing the emotional support they need and deserve.
Why Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever
For young people facing cancer, timely psychosocial support is not optional—it is essential for their emotional stability, adherence to treatment, and overall well-being. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly strengthens our capacity to accompany them through fear, uncertainty, and isolation.
In the next months, with the help of donors, we hope to:
- Restore weekly group therapy and workshop activities
- Develop a structured caregiver support program
- Provide additional staff hours for specialized psychological care
- Create follow-up support for families returning to their regions
- Supply materials and safe spaces for expression, creativity, and rest
