Over the past months, this program has continued providing specialized psychosocial support to adolescents undergoing cancer treatment and their caregivers at Fundación Camino.
Cancer affects not only the patient but the entire family. By creating safe spaces for emotional expression, connection, and mutual support, this project has helped adolescents and caregivers cope with uncertainty, reduce feelings of isolation, and build stronger support networks within our Foundation.
Despite the positive impact of the program, sustaining it remains a significant challenge. Psychosocial care is an essential part of comprehensive cancer treatment, yet funding for these services is often limited. As a result, Fundación Camino continues to face difficulties in securing the resources needed to maintain and expand this program.
We need greater support from donors and partners to ensure that adolescents with cancer and their caregivers continue to receive the emotional, psychological, and social support they deserve. Every contribution helps us provide professional psychosocial care, strengthen family resilience, and accompany these families throughout their cancer journey.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us ensure that no adolescent or caregiver has to face cancer alone.
